Cathy Schwieger is our finance coordinator. Cathy also organizes the co-management arrangements for refractive surgery patients. Cathy and her husband collect art and enjoy traveling. Sherrie Downs will assist you at the completion of your examination. She is in charge of initial filing of insurance claims and receipts. Should one of our doctors determine that you need to see a specialist, Sherrie is usually the one who assists in making arrangements for you. She will help you set up the appointment and provide you with directions and the necessary paperwork for the specialist’s office. Sherrie has 19 years of experience in the eye care field and is knowledgeable about many issues concerning your vision and eye care. Jennifer Winland, LDO works as a frame and lens design specialist in the practice. She is a Licensed Dispensing Optician in the State of Ohio and is a member of the American Board of Opticianry. Jennifer has been an employee of the practice for the past five years and has trained to work in many areas of the office. One of her main duties is helping patients select frames and lenses to best fulfill their recommended visual treatment plan. Anne Seidenabel, LDO is the managing optician for the practice. She is a Licensed Dispensing Optician in the State of Ohio and is a member of the American Board of Opticianry, and she has been with Drs. Quinn, Quinn, and Associates for over 16 years. Anne is responsible for selecting and maintaining our extensive frame collection. Her knowledge of lens material and design allows her to create optimal lens and frame combinations for all prescriptions. Erin Jenks, LDO, NCLEC
is a 2003 graduate of Hocking College with an Associates degree in opticianry. She is both a licensed dispensing optician and National Contact Lens Examiner Certified. She is also a member of the Opticians Association of Ohio. She helps Dr. Tom Quinn with patient care and is the office coordinator for contact lens clinical studies. Eric Ball assists Dr. Susan Quinn with patient care, particularly specializing in low vision care. Eric maintains the office stock of low vision aids and has made presentations concerning low vision rehabilitation in the Athens area. He is also a Master Sergeant in the Ohio Air National Guard, and in 2007, he was honored with Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for the Toledo 180th Fighter Wing. Amanda Huston is a graduate of Houghton College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She is currently taking classes at Ohio University and plans to attend Optometry School. Amanda is the Clinic team leader, so she coordinates training of new staff members and assists Erin with contact lens study coordination. | Diane Coleman is our insurance clerk. She is responsible for insurance billing and follow-up on claims, keeping track of insurance account receivables, transcribing letters and documents, posting insurance checks, and filling in at check-out as needed. Diane has 18 years of experience in medical office settings. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband, three sons, and five dogs. She loves to read and play the piano.
