We provide vision care to all members of the family. Our complete vision
examination requires an hour and a half and includes:
- Comprehensive general and eye health history.
- Analysis of eye health externally and internally, including cataract
and glaucoma testing.
- Analysis of eye-muscle coordination including depth perception testing.
- Examination for clarity of vision to determine id you may benefit
from glasses, contact lenses, or laser correction.
During your examination:
- Give your best answer. Do not worry about making mistakes.
- Feel free to tell the examiner if you would like a question repeated.
We routinely instill drops in your eyes to rule out the presence of
eye conditions that may otherwise go undetected. These drops make you
light sensitive and blur your near vision for a few hours. Generally,
distance vision is not affected, though you may prefer to bring a companion
for driving home after your visit.
At the end of your visit, we will recommend when you should return for
your next examination. This recommendation is based on your age, family
eye history, and present eye condition. Regular follow-up care is very
important to ensure healthy eyes and maximum visual performance.
