Anti-reflective Coatings (Lenses that
reduce glare)
Anti-reflective coatings have been shown to increase visual acuity by reducing
glare caused by fluorescent lighting, computer screens, and headlights at night.
This coating even eliminates glare from the front of your lenses, making them
appear more invisible. Glare-free lens treatment also includes a process that
makes your plastic lenses more resistant to scratches. Anti-reflective coatings
can also be used on sunglasses to provide the best sun protection available.
Anyone who wears glasses can benefit from AR coatings.

Photochromic Lenses (Lenses that change
outdoors)
Transitions lenses are plastic or polycarbonate lenses that are crystal clear
indoors, but become gray or brown in the UV light of the sun to protect and soothe
your eyes. They also include a built-in scratch resistance and 100% UV protection.
While they are not meant as a replacement for sunglasses, Transitions lenses
offer comfort and convenience for many people.
Glass photochromic lenses (Photo Gray Extra or Photo Brown Extra) offer
the same protection from the potentially damaging rays of the sun, but
they tend to retain a light tint even indoors.

High Index Materials (Thinner, lighter
lenses)
High index materials are specifically designed for patients who have high prescriptions,
which cause lenses to be thick and heavy. The use of high index materials make
lenses significantly thinner and lighter resulting in a more comfortable pair
of glasses.

Aspheric lenses (Thinner, flatter lenses)
Aspheric lenses are thinner and lighter than a regular plastic and offer an expanded
viewing area. They also reduce magnification or minification of eyes caused
by some prescriptions.

Progressive Lenses (“No-line bifocals”)
Progressive lenses offer a smooth transition from distance to near prescriptions,
allowing you to see clearly at all distances. And since there is no line between
powers, people may not even know you are wearing bifocals!

Polarized
Sun Lenses
Polarized lenses filter light reflected from horizontal surfaces, which makes
your eyes more comfortable when you're driving, out on the water or playing
sports.

Computer Eyewear
Computer lenses are specially designed to relieve symptoms of blur, eyestrain,
and discomfort after computer use. These lenses provide a larger viewing area
for computer and reading distances than regular progressive lenses. And they
have just enough distance prescription for you to be able to walk short distances
comfortably in them.

to protect your eyes while still allowing you to see clearly. Prescription
